It’s great to see another project come to completion. Our Building Services Engineering team worked hard on all the MEP developments on the beautiful reception refurbishment at 125 Old Broad Street. The impressive building stands out prominently in London’s skyline, situated within the City of London amidst financial institutions.
The main issue with the old reception space was complaints of it being cold. Upon our investigations we established that there was an air leakage path from the linking Café space. This along with poorly performing entrance ways were causing cold air to dump into the space, being particularly severe in the winter months.
The new reception offers occupiers and guests a brand-new sense of arrival that provides an optimal experience. The details in the space include new Feature Ceilings, LED lighting throughout with new Lighting Control System, new break out space with coffee bar, new revolving doors, new speed gates, new external lighting including planter lighting and adaptions to the mechanical systems including BMS graphic updates to improve comfort.
