Planning has now been achieved for the construction of a new office extension to Building J on The Biscuit Factory project.
The extension, with an approximate GIA of 4,000m2, will be arranged across the ground – fifth floors, with a basement cycle store and showers, a Club Workspace area with a cafe on the ground floor and individual work studios on the upper floors.
“Located in Bermondsey, The Biscuit Factory is the former site of the famous Peek Freans biscuit company, manufacturing biscuits on the site since 1866 until 1989 when the site was closed down after 126 years of manufacturing. Workspace then acquired and redeveloped the property – now known as the Tower Bridge Business Complex.”
