We are proud to announce that The Lyra, Acton, a major student accommodation development with Downing Developments, has been awarded BREEAM ‘Excellent’ status.
The development consists of 2 buildings with a centralised energy centre and provides 209 contemporary studio apartments and was completed in the Summer of 2013 for the new term.
This building sets new high performance standards for the student accommodation based upon a low carbon design led approach.
BREEAM sets the standard for best practice in sustainable building design, construction and operation and is one of the most comprehensive measures of a building’s environmental performance.
